Harvest Fun Way of Welcome
There is a sculpture of a harvesting warrior in front of you as you walk into the hotel lobby, a calm warrior in high spirits with a flying bird above his head and a wild boar between his legs, welcoming you to join the fantastic tour to Alishan.
In the early days, boar tusk was the symbol for Alishan Tsou warriors, but now nurturing has replaced hunting, and the protection of nature has become the warriors’ mission. The artwork presents satisfaction of the wild boar,
flying birds dancing and the confidence of the warriors, with love, peace and happiness. -
Golden Relief Sculpture of Cherry Blossoms
There is a whole wall of golden relief sculpture of cherry blossoms at the hotel counter, using a cluster of seven flowers that is pure, elegant, warm and fashionable gold. The cherry blossoms are almost as if waving with sincere smile, welcoming you to walk into the golden Nice Prince Hotel, into the golden Alishan.

There is a wall of the famous relief sculpture of Alishan animals before your eyes, including green-backed tit, collared bush robin, hynobius formosanus. formosana rehder, plum blossoms, common aspidistra, with Alishan sunrise and sea of clouds. The artist uses childhood innocence to portray love and care for the Mother Nature.

All kinds of sculptures describe carefree lives of the Tsou Tribe, including harvest dance, old station master, warriors, and playing mouth flute and double nose flute in the middle of the lobby, or joyous women celebrating harvest with songs and dances, or the benevolent image of Alishan small train station master calling, or carefree Tsou’s entertaining with mouth flute and double nose flute, responding to the sculptures of the harvesting warriors, making it a fun and lively picture of the floating world.
Harvest Dance - The Tsou Tribe is optimistic and simple in nature, celebrating each harvest with songs and dances, showing gratification to their ancestors. -
The Tsou Tribe Paradise
With the promotion of nature preservation and wealthy lifestyle, bow and arrow is no longer the hunting weapon for the Tsou Tribe, it has become a toy for the Tsou children. The spear has also become a symbol for the chief’s status at the Aboriginal ceremony, enhancing peace between the Tsou Tribeand the forest has become the ultimate mission for the chief.
The artwork presents the Formosan black bear on the brink of extinction closely attached to the smiling chief, with Tsou children playing bows and arrows,representing the mission for peace and happiness with the forest will be passed down from generation to generation.
